Ok, I know they’re not technically holly wreaths on these gifts, but I just couldn’t resist the pun! We’ve only one more sleep to go before the festivities can officially begin, though I’m sure some of us have already begun indulging. And why not? After the year we’ve had, I think we all deserve to treat ourselves! 🎄🎁
It did take me awhile to get into the spirit of Christmas, but I surprised myself by completing the gift shopping a few weeks ahead of time. 🎉 All the presents have even been wrapped, and it’s barely Christmas Eve! I’m usually still wrestling with ribbons and tape right up to the last minute, so this really makes a change. Perhaps having to stay at home has given me more time to get myself organised, plus I did have a bit of help…Meet my little elf, Zhouyi (aka my daughter)! 🤣
Pretty sure no one is in the mood for a long tutorial right now, so I’ll keep this brief by sharing the links to a couple of videos that helped me when making these Christmas Wreath Gift Toppers.
Learn to make the Christmas Wreath here.
This video will teach you all the basics, and you can easily put your own spin on it as I did.
Learn to make the Paper Bow here.
You can use fabric/ribbons instead (as per the aforementioned wreath video), but I like the way that paper/card bows 🎀 hold their shape.

The wreaths (and name labels) are all detachable, so they can also be reused as hanging ornaments, or to decorate gift bags. As I ended up with an extra bow, I made another gift tag for Zhouyi and tied it to her Santa Sack. It’s actually already monogrammed, but a little extra personalisation doesn’t hurt!
Hopefully the rest of 2020 goes smoothly for everyone. I know many of us face a disappointingly quiet Christmas but with a few vaccines now on the scene, we might be off to a bright start for 2021! 🤞❤️
