Turns out it’s not just us humans going a little loopy in lockdown! Although Magic is actually an indoor cat, she still enjoys a bit of springtime fun 🌻🌷 from time to time. Since she doesn’t like going out, I decided to bring the outdoors in (kind of), but without setting off her allergies.
Magic made very quick work of the paper grass mat I got her, possibly because it was infused with her favourite drug (hence the exuberant rolling around), but cats do like that sort of rustly texture as well. 😻
Cute animals always put a smile on my face, which is why I thought I’d share this playful video of my furbaby to brighten things up a little. As you can see, it’s not a good idea to get between Magic and her junkie fix, because she’ll give you a smack. 😂 #MyCatIsHigh
The rest of our family have been keeping busy as well. As mentioned in my last post, I am working from home, whilst daughter Zhouyi (like all the other kids in the UK) is home-schooling. 📚 Hubby David is currently sole carer of both his elderly parents and also has his hands full.
This doesn’t mean we haven’t had time to take on other challenges though! In the next few days, I will be posting more updates of what we have got up to, including the 2.6 campaign! 🎉 This is a fundraising effort some of my teammates at work have been getting involved in (whilst observing self-isolation rules), and we have chosen to support local charity Trinity Hospice. 🏥
You can hop over to my facebook page to find out if we did reach our goals, but all will eventually be revealed here. In the meantime, I hope everyone is doing well and keeping in good spirits.
